Last Call by Alannah Lynne

This was a bit of a different story than I have been reading lately, which made for a nice change. I wasn't expecting the story to go in the direction it did and that is always nice.  Sunny is a strong selfless woman trying to make a better life for herself and her brother. When big business tries to throw a kink in her future she doesn't give up. I really liked that she wore her necklaces for her, and that it almost seemed that her artistic side was trying to sneak out under the radar.  Gavin was a complicated character and I liked how real he seemed. I am also glad that he finally got his priorities in line and helped those around him. The description of the regulars at the bar were great and they made sense as well as added depth to the story. Ms. Lynne did a great job of developing her characters in the length allotted.

I enjoyed the book and will be looking for more from Ms. Lynne.
