I love celtic art and symbolism. So I jumped at the chance to read this story. I really liked that it wasn't predictable, and had enough twists and turns to keep me engaged. Allyn was an interesting character, the way she was there and gone so quickly in the beginning. Then learning of the other connections to the Otherworld that Jaye had in his life was even more fun. Jaye's insistence of being a loner did get a bit old, but happily he did get over it. I did like the fact that he got to find his family after so long thinking they had thoughtlessly abandoned him.Synopsis:

I totally loved this story. I was excited to get to read it from the very first. I was very glad to see that it lived up to the hype I built up in my head. I loved how True was able to adapt to life in 1423. Her love of music was a nice touch as well. I thought the relationship between True and Malcolm was very well done, he was so torn at times but when he finally listened it just all works out- as any good story should. I really do love it when I find a story that tugs on the heartstrings. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a highland romance. Can't wait for the next one!
